well it started off friday nite with a 1000 beers and had a great idea of landbased mudding again crashed about 3am and woke around 11.decided that the local (lota)creek again was going to be the the place to go..i spent about 2 hrs mending my crappy pots what i didn't really care if the sharefarmes pinched as they had served me well...on low tide yesterday i raincoated up grabbed my 4 pots and set of through the mud thinking your a bloody idiot..used a whole mullet a pot for bait...went back this arvo to pull them back out for a good result of 5 keepers but had lost 1 pot to some1 who wanted it more than me,am guessing it had good keepers in it...good to see the creek lowlifes still around after all these years.out of the 3 pots left there where on average of 9 crabs a pot so plenty of crabs just not alot of keepers...just made the 2 biggest muddie sambo's for dinner and enjoyed them with a nice coldie...on a side note on low tide today it was approx .5mtr deeper than yesterday with the run off from the rain
cheers rosco
