    lake kurwongbah closed

    Water quality testing has revealed abnormal levels of Enterococci Exceedance bacteria.


    Seqwater’s water quality team have recommended the lake be closed until further testing can be undertaken. This closure applys to all access including Shore based Fishing.

    In other words, too much S--T in the water!!

    Maybe run off from the cow & horse poop from properties in the catchment area!!

    Well getting flushed at the moment.

    I wonder if the rowing club and ski club have also been stopped from accessing the dam?

    'Applies to all access' so I would think it includes rowing and skiing.
