North Coast NSW
Gda'y fellas. I am going to do a run down some of your northern beaches again in about late Feb. Potsville, Iluka / Yamba and Evans Head.
I suppose the Salmon would be gone and Bream would be the main catch.
If anyone could add info to that it would help me in the planning.
Regards Gordon

I just had a great holiday at Yamba, the tackle store in the Main Street put me onto a few good fish. Got my first big Jewie off the wall 19.4kg, caught on their big heavy hard body jew lure. And heaps of flathead up Oyster Channel too. I see they are on Facebook now.

Head to south ballina and jump on the ferry. Get on to south ballina beach and if the tide is low enough you should be able to get to Evans head along the beach. Not garuanteed but, depends on how much coffee rock is out and how low the tide is. There can be some great fishing along there with all the above species at times and after all the rain a good chance of gettin a jewie as mentioned
Sure beats going the highway way...
