Tweed River & Cudgen Creek
Hi all,
Been a long time since I posted any fish stories in here but I had my first family holiday in about 8 years this Xmas break and headed to Kingscliff in Nth NSW. Fished the Cudgen Creek and the Tweed River. Lots of little nursery spots down there and the river and creek is alive with fingerlings and juniors of different species. Both gulp plastics and bait were getting smashed and the kids loved it (so did I really too).
So in a proud celebration of my daughter getting her first rod & reel combo for christmas, she christened it with a nice little bream from the Tweed under the bridge. She released it herself after this shot was taken..not bad for a 5yr old. Makes me a proud Dad!
