Maroochy or North Maroochy River freshwater/brackish access for kayak

    Hi All

Seeing if anyone knows of any access points to freshwater or brackish parts of the Maroochy or North Maroochy River that I can get my kayak into. Keen to tangle with some jacks or maybe even bass. Any help would be appreciated. PM me if need be. All catch and release.

    Cheers Cody

Thanks Luc, did have a look. It is a little hard trying to judge terrain, as in steepness of banks from google maps. I know very little about the river so i don't know its layout. If I lived a little closer I could do a reccie before I went so that makes it harder. May have to find a few options from google maps and see how I go.

Petrie Creek / Paynter Creek, Petrie Creek Road bridge
Eudlo Creek, Lyons Park of Fishermans Road
Coolum Creek, end of West Coolum Road
    Maroochy River, Lake Dunethin Road
Maroochy River, Vee Road bridge, Yandina
Maroochy River, Old Cobb And Co Lane, Yandina
North Maroochy River, park just off the Nindery Road bridge

If you go to "street view" at possible locations, you get a fair idea of the general layout.
