    Mooloolaba run 2nd Jan

    How you going?

    Went for a run with the old man this morning chasing some spanish macks around the Gneerings/Murphys area . Despite heaps of bait and birds around, managed only one little spanish towing baits. Caught heaps of tuna, but thats not what we wanted. Decided to give the lures a run, and was very surprised to get a Wahoo. Weather was fantastic, had a great morning.

    So has anyone been getting any macks? I was really expecing a few more.

    We fished the same area yesterday for one bust off unknown, one snipped off unknown, end of coke can teaser bitten off and one who in the boat.

    Not to many Spanish about but plenty of wahoo. Got 1 Spanish 4 wahoo of mooloolaba yesterday.
