Well done Trace, nice way to kick off the new year. Just the perfect eating size as well.
Cheers

Just a quick report.
We haven't been fishing much lately but got out for a couple of hours in freshwater Creek a couple of days ago for a few undersize flattys and a catty ,
Then we got out again this morning for some pretty slow fishing, but really enjoyed having the Pine River almost to ourselves for the first few hours of the day (never seen it so devoid of boats!!)
Anyway Trace landed a nice 55 cm flatty in 2 ft of water on a squidgy critter...so that was dinner tonight.
Hope to get out again next weekend

You two don't fail very often , do you ?
Well done ,
Shawn
Lately we haven't fished very often! Actually Shawn we've really found the Pine hard going from about April of 2012, and hoping that things improve soon...quite a few hours between fish at times! But this 55 was fat and gave Trace a great fight, broke the line just after we got it on board.

I know the feeling. The boat started getting cobwebs on it . Hopefully will give it a go tomorrow .

Nice one! For once no jetskis and heaps of boats in the pine.
Great stuff you two, I was wondering how you got on
Happy new year to you both
Good on ya's. Thats Flathead would have been nice eating.
Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
