    Scarbrough Snaps 28/12/2012

Hit the water at 6am today met awsome conditions I so wish I went offshore but my deckie had the luxury of having to work . Pulled up to my spot X nobody around line's hit the water burleighed up and Bang my raider goes off at a great rate of knots nice 47cm snap in the esky caught about 3 just on 35 but they went back to fight another day then I wrestled a few large catfish they gave me a good workout had a few boats pull up near me so I decided to head to another spot I have pulled up a few more undersize squire and then a few more catfish decided to call it quits was out until about 11am awsome morning on the water and great conditions.

    Cheers Mick.

Depressing to read the post Fisho. Haven't been out in months and convinced myself they were gone during Summer so wasn't missing out. Have to dust off the gear!

Nice catch mate... Beautiful day on the water but i struggled a bit. Got a few undersize squire but managed a 39cm one and a 58cm flatty which is always a welcome bycatch to me... I was fishing macleay island... You seem to have the snapper sussed out there at mud mossy...

    Cheers

Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.

i saw one of Mossys big snaps once. It was all dried out and looked like a plank. Im pretty sure that fish has posed for many photos.
Im not even sure if it was real
Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.

Yeah jay get out there mate fish the deeper water and you will find some the water clarity is not the best at the moment but if you put in the hours you will come up with one for sure.

    Cheers Mick.

Yeah Wayne it would not have surprised me that it would have been busy out there. I was talking to a couple of blokes at the ramp and they got some very nice snaps off Shallow Tempest might have to pay a vist out there when I am out next at least you got a feed mate the blacks must have had enough of all the lures put in front of them this season so far mate will have to get out for a trip soon mate.

    Cheers Mick.
