good stuff ol mate, will have to catch you out there soon! tight lines - Mossy
had a reasonable morning at mud island today in the old fellas tinny. We were off to a terrible start, lost the GPS, sounder wouldnt work, left phone in car, forgot cutting board among other things. Lucky the fish played the game.
So we pulld up roughly where we thought our mark was about 6 and didnt move til we left to go home. Berleyed up and Fish were quickly biting very well with a lot of just unders and a few decent bustoffs.
Lost a good mackerel at the back of the boat which pulled nearly 150m of 10lb braid off my spool before getting him back close. Eventually pulled the clip through on my snap swivel was pissed off to say the least. Lesson learnt
Back home just after 10. Beautiful day on the bay
A few keepers with my best snap for a while going 58. (slateys are for the neighbours)
Hope to get back out next week some time while on hols.
Cheers

Well done Deano good morning out mate the bay was awsome.
Nice one dean. Was out there myself surprised i didnt see you. What side where you fishing on?
Nice catch kingcray. I was out there flicking softbplastics and only landed a 32cm squire. I did well last week using bait So I am going out in the morning with bait.
nice feed mate, did you see the seagull poop on the dolphin out there mate..its game on round 1 in the q cup.lol
Gee Mud and Green have both been turning on some great captures well done mate
thanks mossy mick brock and trick.
Brock i was somewhere off the northwestern corner. As we had no GPS or sounder it was all ass. I think we were at least 100m away from any other boat too which really helps, and plenty of berleying too
Rosco - no mate didnt see that happen, but i did see one dolphin jump clear out of the water and swallow a seagull whole lol. Petero will have them fired up no doubt, gonna be tough for your boys

Good hall kingcray! Thinking of taking a trip over there in my tinny. Not sure how safe as I normally use it in estuaries and never really in the open, it's a 25hp 4.2 deep side tinny. Just wondering the specs of the tinny you used to get over there? Obviously I would pick a calm day.
Thanks
John, i leave from clontarf when i go to mud so it has to be a pretty good day for me too.
I either take my boat - 4.3 tinny with 30hp or the missus dads - 4.5 40hp.
Anything blowing over 10knots i dont bother
