It's a good question and one I tried to ask a few years ago. There really should be some sort of dumping location for such a potent product. I live in the suburbs and there's no way I could dispose of a decent quantity via fence lines etc.
Take it to either the Caltex or BP refineries.
They have a tank to dispose of old/contaminated fuel.
