Recently had problems with aerated water being caused by a busy back end, so took off redundant transducer and temp reader device. Just have the one transducer on, now (hopefully this stops the temp alarm sounding).
With re-filling the small holes in the transom, I've just put the screws back in, and added some sikaflex before fully tightening them. Do you think this will be enough to prevent any seepage into the transom? One of the screw's grooves have been corroded, so I could only get it three quarters back in. STill, I put plenty of sikaflex around it, and can't see how any holes would still be exposed. Be great to hear if this is adequate, or if I should have gone another method.
