Offshore Point Lookout sunday the 16/12/2012 Black time for Fisho8

Well words cannot decribe the day I had today I am totally and utterly stoked. Took my Mate's offshore assult weapon out off Point lookout to go for some Wahoo and Marlin and the day did not disspoint Left Manly at 4am over the SPB bar which was interesting to say the least I have never bee airborn out of my chair as the swell was up but we met Perfect conditions We trolled around the rockshelf around Point Lookout and Chris hooked up on a nice Yellowfin Tuna which bit him off...Oh well after about an hour there we rigged the Rods and decided to go chase some blacks. I was first up on strike and it did not take long for one to slam the Lure we had out the back after about 25mins I had him at the boat and had a huge smile on my face My first Black marlin....Yeah baby we tried to swim him but he was not playing the game so the hard decision was made to Keep him next hookup was my mate pauls and the same problem arose and we decided to keep that fish to after the we strongly agreed between us that we were not keeping anymore and would do no matter what to swim them the best we could and release them Next hook up was Brett but he lost his but did manage to get one later in the day which we release with no dramas. Next was chris he got onto a good wahoo which hit the ice and last of all was chris again with a nice black we successfully released all in all we had a total of 7 Marlin for the day caught 5 out of 7 and Kept 2. A day I will not foget for a very Long time. It was awsome seeing them hit the lure's an awsome fish to catch.

Thanks mate I just want to get out there and hit it again I won't forget yesterday for a long time. Pick up a heap of pointers on how to get them so next time I am off the Cape I will be giving it a red hot go.

Thanks Wayne they are there most of those fish were caught with rods set in the rocket launchers believe it or not only got 2 on the outriggers.
