    Cheap Carbontex drag washers

This site might be of interest to anyone wanting to upgrade their drag washers:

    http://smoothdrag.com/price.html

They're a itload cheaper than what I can get them for locally. I might do a bulk order and do a heap of my reels at once.

Go to the Downriggershop website. They sell sheets of carbontex for $20, all you need is a wad punch and you can cut your own, we did 7 reels from one sheet!

Note to self: Don't argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience....

All good with the service from these guys but he only sells the 1mm sheets and its a course weave. before buying it check the thickness of your drag washers.

In the past I also ordered some carbon drags from the US people mentioned but they took frigging ages 3-4 weeks! There is a Sydney bloke on ebay Australia who sells em and yes you pay a bit more but I get drags from him usually within 3 days. Guess if you need drags fairly quickly he is probably your best bet.
