    1770 on the full moon

Went to 1770 for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of last week spent the 3 days out on the reefs covered from North of Sykes down to Boult. The weather was fantastic but the fishing was fairly quiet, we did manage to put a reasonable bag together of quality fish. Almost all fish were caught in the shallower water around the reefs despite hours of trying out-wide we could not get the fish to fire. All in all though another great trip and can't wait to get back up there and do it again. Photos are of a 12 lb trout and an 8lb trout you will also notice in the photos it was Movember.

Fishing can be defined as "A jerk on one end of the rod, waiting for a jerk on the other".
