Great fish/pics/posts - some serious damage/fish on those jig heads especially considering theyre so tough gear to start with.

Lew, the silly buggars are fishing at Deep Tempest with jigheads designed for the bay?? They should have used my offshore jigheads from 1/2oz up to 2oz with Owner 3/0 to 7/0 hooks.
They would not have lost the big snapper.

Not sure what straightened the 3/8 but it was big

You still got it mossy and a solid trevally and your mates snap and your offshore snap is ace. I have been off for a while like you but mine is similar as you as nearly lost job and not getting paid and starting to piss me off and really needing pay to live oh and fish would be nice. I have moved to capalaba so another 8 k,s from boat ramp but still alive. We be going offshore soon in lucky,s new 8 metre patriot so i hope to hook up on something solid one day. Nothing wrong with you gear Baz I have shares in them getting them off Mark at TW Sandgate they have held up well out there mate I love em juts bought a heap of them and have them ready to go next trip.
