    Caloundra flathead

The weather and tide conditions were ideal so my wife and I decided to have an attack on the flathead. Left on Saturday morning at 5:00am and went to the inside of "Henzel Island". Had a good result. Worth getting up early. Got my first 75cm flathead.

Hmmm this thread is up in two places apparently

Anyway, like I said in the other place:

"Well with Funchy in Turkey someone had to step up to the plate!

Looks like a good early morning's fishing. How big was the big girl we can't read the ruler?

    Bait or plastics / lures?"

Some nice flathead there, and some good eating too.

Well done to you and your wife.
    Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.

No judgement Mighty_Quin but any thoughts of returning this big girl to go do her thing?
