    Noosa Wide 23/11

Headed out 7am yesterday with plans to go to the Hards but the short sharp chop made it a rough ride so we diverted to some ground a bit closer in. Caught the turn of the tide & we slowly put a few in the tank. Nothing great, but just nice to be back on the water. Can someone ID the dark for fish for me? Told it was a netted sweetlip, but the images I found didn't match too well.
Caught my 1st amberjack, which was fun, They pull real well. He was only a little one at 70cm, so the big ones must go like a freight train! Pulled a few Trevally in 60m as well. Silvers?? Mate took some home but I kept one & steamed it up for the dogs. They LOVE their fish!!
The Range Rover pulled the boat for the 1st time & barely knew it was behind it, so all in all, a good day.
