Advice on outboard price?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if anyone can help by giving me a rough price on what I could get for my outboard because unfortunately it exceeds the manufacturers specs.
It's a 1977 Johnson 140, previous owner said it was rebuilt approx 4 years ago. Compression on all 4 cylinders is between 90-91psi, I've been told this is low by some people but my boat mechanic insists its fine as they are within 10% of each other. Besides that its in pretty good condition for its age, starts within 20 seconds even if it hasn't been touched for months.

going off ebay any pre 96 johno goes for max $2500 and this is 35 years old
