39' Riveira flybridge - any first hand knowledge?

was shown a 39' Riviera flybridge boat recently, quite different to the 38 which is more of a house on water

39 seems to be closer aligned to gamefishing and most 39's have riggers fitted and can or do already mount a chair on the deck

how do they handle up and down sea?

any gremlins with the 39' model?

    cheers

wouldn't be too many bad points in a Riviera of any size, except price and upkeep.

just watching the market and doing ongoing research

absolutely not for X-mas, but maybe some day in the future

just learning and keeping track of which models are great boats, what great engines are, what great setups are, and maybe one day someone will list a boat too cheap that can be pounced on for a bargain

since i've been watching the market for the last 2 years i have seen a bunch of real bargains sell, just none of them were my style

The 39 was one of the better Riv hull and have a nice layout. The old 38, not so much.
I have a bit of a soft spot for the 39's. Choose one with Cummins rather than Cat power, and she'll be all good!

The 39' is a stretched 36'. Same hull as Fish Whisperer or Wayne's old Keneka but with 3' added on. Fished on a survey one called Obsession down the Gold Coast with 450 Cats I think it was. It got up and went. That guy was the CEO of Theiss so fuel burn wasn't a worry for him. Big heap of boat to shift around. Gunna cost you a bit to run.

I don't know the boats you're referring to but I'm assuming (maybe wrongly) that they're the popular 36' single cab, but who told you that 36 was a shortened 39? It's not.
