Adrian Marine Centre - Bundaberg - Thanks
Hi all,
Just wanted to acknowledge the people at Adrian's in Bundie for great help and support and especially Jade. During our yearly trip to 1770 my Mercury opti 115 died while we were about 30km off shore. It gave one beep then cut out (we were going at a good speed and the sudden stop knocked everyone over) We got back more than 2hours latter) and were at a loss why this happened? After checking fuel etc we rang Adrians Marine (no outboard mechanic in 1770) and he said to check the compression on the motor and if one was low(normally 1st cylinder) it would be that the engine was running too cool due to thermostat. He had an Opti in with the same issue. He was spot on and even though I couldn't take it to him it was comforting to have that knowledge in the back of my mind.
I thought it best to acknowledge good customer service and let people out there know.
Thank you very much
Joe
PS If anyone has had similar problems I would appreciate a heads up
