    Bribie island passage

Hi guys went out this morning for a fish on low tide, and what a morning Two snapper/squire
1st was a 48cm got that on my new Stradic fj 4000 and new rod. And 2nd was a 37cm on my new slingshot 1-3kg and a 2500 Sienna FD......

What a great way to break in two new rods and reels....

Oh these are my first Snaps that i have ever got too so that was a big bonus as well..

will get some pic's up tomorrow..

I regularly catch snapper up to 60 cm around donnybrook, sometimes in under 5 feet of water, great fun on light gear..

Awesome, I used to do that too when I lived down there, lots of Grassy's too, up to 2kg or so.
Not all that far from 112s, and yes in 5-8 ft of water. Soft plastics, yeah!

Yep the 112's is my bet. Always manage to get at least a squire from there even if undersized. Now to find that same sort of spot at Maroochy. I know the Cod Hole does but hit and miss there big time.

    Gotta Love Maroochydore.
