    Shark tagging

This is mildly interesting, it is a bit about tagging sharks and how far they have travelled, via some satelite tags placed in the dorsal fin and transmitting GPS data to satelites, a couple of them were tagged by a good friend of mine, it is somewhat interesting how they will zig zag seemingly aimlessly, but end up at certain spots repeatedly, I guess it must be food sources or something.

There was also a documentry on bull sharks I saw earlier this year in Sydney harbour using the same satelite tracking. It was interesting to see the amount of sharks still in the harbour on Australia Day when it is at its busiest.
With just the sharks that were tracked it was interesting to see that they ended up in just about all the bays of the harbour.

Thanks for the website Noelm, interesting to see the migrations the sharks make. Funny to see that one of the sharks ended up right around Fraser during tailor season.

    Cheers,
