WHICH BLANK? REEF Plastics / 7ft 1 piece, Tippy with Balls!

Hey Fisho,s ... I want to make myself a plastics rod for offshore snapper etc, somewhere around 4/6 or 6/8 kg. I cant decide what blank would be the best. Been looking at "mudhole" ect but just dont know where to start? Its hard when you cant physicaly put a bend in them before you buy! Any info would be great. Cheers.

You don't say what weight but I'm a big fan of the Batson RCLB 70's
E glass tip and graphite arse end.
    Cheers,
    Owen

Have a look at the MHX spin jig models. Designed specifically for plastics. I just built up a SJ842-2-MHX for snapper and it's an excellent blank for flicking plastics. I couldn't be happier. The MHX blanks are pretty close to the old Loomis blanks.
