Hi guys, i want to go for a fish in some of the canals down the gold coast for some jacks and flathead, does anyone know any good spots where I can access any of the canals landbased? Not asking for any secret spots (although it would be nice lol). Also if anyone knows of any decent landbased spots on the cost that they would like to share it would be greatly appreciated.
ask Nathank, his mate has a hot spot for monster flatheads....
id just stick to the main river, around the west chevron and isl capri bridges. Behind the city council building at bundall, or Budds beach for flatties.
bASICLY, under any of the bridges, my favourites were.
Manaco st, both
Nerang highway main bridge and the small bridge.
Pacific Fair bridge
Hooker Blv all bridges.
I'm up in bundaberg now, but there are more jacks down on the GC......
