Lowrance hds depth range
It seems tedious to set the depth range on the lowrance by going into custom and putting in two lots of figures. Is there a quicker way as I seem to be in different depths of water quite often?

HDS 10. I know how to set the absolute depth. If the depth is 60metres I want the whole screen to show from say 50metres to 70 metres. There must be a quicker way than having to put 2 lots of figures in everytime you get deeper and deeper.

Leave the depth on auto while traveling works fine on HDS10, set sensitivity as far as conditions allow. Normally around 65% while at 30knts
Every time you hit the zoom it narrows the bottom lock band as well.

Set the bottom depth only, then use the zoom and arrow buttons without going into a menu.
If you are changing all the time, for example 60 to 90 meters, you can set the bottom depth for 100 meters and then use zoom and arrow to focus on the part of the water column you want to see. You don't have to enter the menu, there are dedicated buttons for this.
