Looking for a decent mobile outboard mechanic Northside

Hi Guys,

As the title suggests I'm looking for a good mobile guy for a mate who has a few issues with his 90hp Johno.

He lives in Caboolture so someone who services the Northside would be excellent.

Not mobile but Alan Downes of Downes marine is pretty good. Just gone through a few issues with my 90 hp Evinrude - 1997 model. Thing was running on 3 cylinders intermittently from about 2500 rpm and above, turned out it was stator assembly and black box. Imported the bits from the states and Alan fitted and tested them.

I also have a recommendation of a good service centre but they aren't mobile, you could give SeaQuest Performance a call? I had my outboard serviced & recently a VHF radio/antenna system by these guys and the service is exceptional.

Caboolture Marine, LearJet Drive Caboolture. Usually very busy, but i'm sure they will be able to fit him in. They are also the largest Outboard Wreckers in SouthEast to the best of my knowledge, and have the Tohatsu franchise. From my own experience I have always been happy with them .

Howies Mobile Marine Services works out of the Sunshine Coast. I don't know if Howie travels to Caboolture but might be worth a ring, a lot of experience and very fair.
