    Twins?

Gave it another shot Sunday looking to get enough fillets for our visitiors later in the week. Launched at 4:15am and headed to my spot. Out goes the Gulp 3" minnow. New moon on it's way and tide on it's way in. Pulled in a couple of undersized flatty's and scored an 31cm bream all in the first hour. I was thinking it was shaping up well. Alas it shut down for a while. So I went for a troll heading south down the passage for same result . Turned around and headed back. Found a little feeder creek so paddled up into it as it opened up into some yabbie banks and mangrove lined banks. I was only in 40cms of water and pulled in another 58cm flatty. He gave me curry in the shallow water and I could feel his teeth rubbing on my 8lb leader.

Cast back in after snipping off the frayed leader and got hit again by a good sized something only to have my leader snap. Tied on another one and kept drifting over the banks. There was a lot of bait fished being worked and I would have loved to have stayed but I had to get home for a BBQ. Had one last flick at my honey hole on the way back in and got snapped off again this time at the hook!

Anyway, great day out!! I have next week off so hope to get stuck into them then.

    Re: Twins?

That's a good morning out Funchy. Sounds like you might have found a new spot worth a few more trips next week.

Thanks for the report, we are looking forward to next week's reading now

    Some nice fish there Funchy.

    Well done mate.
    Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
