whats the best sounder $200-$400

Keep an eye out on ebay or gumtree.

Not quite as good as 620 or 585 but an awesome little unit and easy to use.

Any of the little colour Garmin units. I have a 400c. Anything similar are great little bits of gear.

Garmin 350c on sale now at Whittworths for $319, and they retail from here up to $400 normally. Colour 5in screen, with preety good resoloution and much better than some. IMO you won't get better for the price.

Now I just got to get me one before the sale ends....

thanks guys im actually going overseas next week and will be stopping off in singapore on the way home and im thinking about buying a sounder there but not sure if its worth it,it maybe cheaper here??
any tips on singapore????????????

Not too sure, I shopped for a Hummingbird and Garmin when I was in Dubai last week and found the prices a little dearer than oz. Other electronics were a fair bit cheaper esp if you haggled. I put it down to the fact that fishing is probably a much bigger sport in Australia than Dubai.
