My hand is only half up, as you know my work situation dictates R & R days.
As it gets closer, maybe a week or so out, I can make decisions.
I can see me doing day trips and inhabiting the comforts of a cabin in the van park as there is a " venue " real close to it that has my refreshment requirements at hand.
Hervey Bay Boat Club is a 1/3rd stubbie walk from the van park.
Wathumba Creek is really chockers with sand at the moment, from a report of a mate that was there last week.

If you are wanting to stay at the park near the ramp....you may want to get in now as there may be a few clubs in the bay that weekend.

The 23rd weekend is out for me Chong at this time, my leave has been altered at work, and now start back to work on the Friday this is planned for. :-( I hope to do a break sea spit trip in the next few days, so will let you know what I find up there. I will try and get it off, but it's not lokking promising at this time. Kev.
Did you read re the baby blacks going off there at the moment. one boat released 11 from 30-50 marlin bites in only 4 hours. INSANE.
We are heading up to her vey bay that same week end and staying over on Fraser. I jumped on here to do some research and found this thread so might jump on this trip. We have two boats at this stage.
waiting on new engine . fingers and everything else crossed this will probly be the first trip for it.
I'm keen, where's every one staying, at the van park? BTW I've not met any of you guys yet so will be good to catch up.
The M&G starts on Friday 23/11/2012 and concludes on Sunday 25/11/12

Where is the boat ramp we are all leaving from ?
Are people driving up Thursday avro so we are ready for an early start Friday ??
Or are people driving up Friday for an early start Saturday ??
Just need to organise a deckie for the trip.

I have got a couple of deckies for you Brett. They are only 10 and 11 years old but good company. If you take them on your boat I will take one of my mates on mine.
Ps one of them eats a fair bit and the other one whinges quite a bit but apart from that they are all good. I will even drop them and pick them up from the ramp for you.
OK I am in as Fishfeeder seems to be taking care of my kids for me while my mrs goes away on a bloody hiking weekend. Thanks Brett. What time at the ramp?
