Well it looks like we have enough starters for a jaunt up into Chong Territory for a M&G in November. Its time to start thinking of a date that suits most. If Wathumba is going to be an option then the better tides for dawn and dusk access are the weekends of the 9/11/12 or the 23/11/12. Whats everyones availability for Nov like?
The date has been decided. The M&G starts on Friday 23/11/2012 and concludes on Sunday 25/11/12. More details to follow

Good point. The tip of Fraser is included in the closure. 11 November to 15 November 2012.

Basicaly, North from latitude 24°50' south is off limits. See Map -

For the First weekend, it would only come into play on the Sunday (I would assume from Midnight Saturday). How much would that impact on fishing options?

It probably would not really hurt us as there is still ground to fish south of Roonies and most of us will be heading for home Sunday anyway

I'm thinking of an early Friday start. Each to do their own thing Fri & Sat then meet back at Wathumba for a BBQ on the beach and a few cleansing ales.

I love the Spottie Mack sessions....... when they are on.... usually later in the year though.

I could line this up with some work ( about a weeks worth ) I have in Maryborough in November.... Thinking... thinking !!
