The good folk at Fishntales forum have told me that Wathumba is good for access at around 1/2 tide up. It has cold showers and toilets for any who want some creature comforts and camping is $5.45 per night if you throw up a tent. No charge if you stick to your boat. As a base its close to the Spotty grounds but about 11NM to Roonies. Its been quite a few years since I slept in the creek but I know that at times the Mossies and sandflies can be thick

Yea, I think the best option is to only head into Wathumba if it starts to blow. That will keep the Sandflies away

Young bloke is driving his fiancee up to Moura for prac studies on the 23rd and asked me if I could pick him up so he can leave a car up there for her, sure mate no problems consider it locked in.
Thank dad you saved me a packet from flying home !!!
Driving to work tonight something rattled around in the control unit 23rd 23rd what was on that weekend ??????

So in closing Perry the beers are still forthcoming it just may have to be a mini 1770 M&G now
Have a good weekend fella's play nicely

Is it worth putting in a few crab pots for around Roonies ????. A feed of fresh crabs and a cold beer after chasing little blacks all day sounds good to me.

Hooooooooold everything. Her indoors has decided that a weekend at Hervey Bay with some old friends of hers will be more fun than her hiking xmas party. Guess who's now coming.
Have got some free accommodation in town so it will be day trips for me. Giddy up!

I agree Brett, but it would even be better with an Ausfish flag ?????
