    Flattie Classic 2012

Another year gone and team Keep it Cool managed to sneak in to the top 10 again. the conditions were good at times, alot better than last year.
First day the team was on fire with Geoff (Scarey) cracking the thousand point individually. Although his biggest fish was only 55cm he caught a sh*t load of them. I got an 81cm to start and all in all it was a good day.

The team was third (i think) and Geoff was second.
Day two was tough but my son Max caught the biggest fish for Keep it Cool coming in at an impressive 83cm. He ended up with 500 odd points for the day.

Day three saw us work hard for our fish with us only getting four or five trolling, still an enjoyable tournament.
Final placing was 9th in the team (about 180 teams) and Geoff came 10th (about 450 anglers)

where did you stay Micksta or are you a local? I was camping at Caravan Park opposite maccas and it got pretty busy in there. Some bastard pinched a few of my mates bourbon tins, toothbrush and morning fresh?!!!

Looked like a great time, venue looked good too

    Hey Michael,

You guys had a great comp and was awesome you guys stayed in the top 10... well done! that's a cracka of a fish Max got, its great seeing the look on the kids face when they land a big fish. Your Brother could have chipped in with an 80 though

Really enjoyed catching up and we have to do that snapper trip very soon.

    Cheers
    Scott.

    Hey Marty
My brother is a local so he looks after the boat and we stayed accross the road which works out well for putting the score sheets in.
At least when the scum drinks your stolen bourbon his mouth and glass will be clean afterwards.
    Some people are incredible

    Hey Scotty
There's the dig, couldn't help yourself. Mate we are pleased with the results although Max was a bit disapointed not to get a trophy for biggest junior flatty. (only because his brother won one last year)
We'll have to do mud soon
