Bloodwormin
Took my young fella out the other day to try our luck beach worming for the first time. In two sessions we got one. Had seen videos on YouTube so was a self proclaimed expert before I even begun. Got me stocking in the wash saw my first worm and pulled him out. I said "what is hard about this?' Well he must have been suicidal. I learnt real quick. So at current my worming economy stands at 1 worm per 4 hours.
Want to keep the bait collecting theme going this school holidays so want to give digging blood worms a go. The mangrove variety like in nuggets video. That video is quite informative on what to do but where to go remains a mystery. I will drive around mangrove lined areas all day but would enjoy some info from any generous person out there that can point me towards a couple. PM much appreciated.
Regards,
Jason

Re: Bloodwormin
Hey mate
Dont quote me on this , but I think you are alowed to dig for worms at Lota creek. Was talking to a fella down there the other day and he was worming, He said has to be a dead low tide a walk all the way out past the beacons, your boy will love it sink in some mud on the walk out but mostly stable. Me i am still trying to work out if you can worm there, but am still heading down next dead low

Re: Bloodwormin
Hi Jason
I would be surprised if anyone will cough up their bloodworm spot on a very public forum mate! Next time they went there it would be like a archeological dig site! There are well known sites like Scarborough of course.
Mate back yourself, keep looking for them and you will find them, dig them and appreciate how great a bait they are, and then have a chuckle or two when you read another post like yours.
They are the king of whiting baits!
Best of luck mate
