yep, grunter bream. pretty common catch in the brisbane waterways these days.

I have an ongoing dispute with the description in the fishing regs.

Have a close read and see if you can pick which one this photo depicts.

There are two seperate species.

Be aware the size limits for one are 40 cm. and the other 30 cm.

If you get it wrong you do your doooo.
