Went just short of 90cm on the lie detector ...was really getting sick of catching heaps in the low 70s and after a 55cm one my boy got last weekend i thought they were getting smaller ....
Had a couple of others on and lost with the poor old herring coping a flogging every bait that went in was crushed...scailed...spat out or lost in a hook up ....even had two rods with at once with 3 big hard runs on each and trying to decide which was the one to grab....
    Awsome night......

Woohoo....can't wait to get up there.... Did you get that fella on a herring mate?.... How do you attach the herring to your hook if you don't mind me asking... I mean through the lips or above spine or tail?

really quiet....one other boat out...a few showers floating around..

grunta....caught on a herring i use thin guage livebait hooks i think thay are hoodlum ones...through the bridge of the nose just infront of the eyes(tough bit on the fish and lasts 4 or 5 good runs)....keeps them alive longer as they are swimming into the current....small lead with just enough weight to keep them on the bottom in the current...
