nice fish mate...got me buggered everytime i go for a fresh water fish i donut..maybe i will just stay saltwater fishing...but then again most fish in the fresh is taking on an lure/artificial
Apparently I have been spending too much time on the boat!
So got out for a little late paddle instead.
Got a handful including this one at 47.
Took purple and gold spinner at noon.
Cheers

Hey Rosco, yep, always lures ( for me anyway)
I am certainly no expert but:
There is a certain sameness about Bass fishing , but in a way they are much more predictable .
Follow the pattern of where and when with time of year , and time of day.
Find a couple of lure styles that you like, and perservere
I usually take 2 rods so I can use a couple of different lures alternating.
usually a diver and either spinner or chatterbait,OR surface type lure.
Today I retrieved a diver dead slow over logs trying real hard not to snag ,as the water was cold and the bites were timid,
Then moved to a different hole and got the big one down low on a spinnerbait.
When the water warms up they will get more active on the surface early and late in the day, Then the fun really starts.
Stick with it mate, it is a good alternative on days when you want to do it cheap and clean!
Cheers
Brendan
Your favourite lure will catch the most fish , cos you will use it the most!
For me its a clear cut one , Jackall chubby in Wagasaki colour.
Nice work not a bad Bass at all you landed there.Like you I also am waiting for some very hot wether so my 20 surface lures can get a thrashing.
bron
A nice solid bass there buddy.
Well done.
Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
