    Barra fishing

Hey everyone, just wanting to know more about barra and other peoples fishing techniques and times off getting them. Ive been catching a few lately. Been out about five times this week and have found the best times so far to be an hour either side of bottom of the tide with pretty big tides. Im in mackay by the way. went down this arvo and it was dead low at five the fish were there still they just weren't biting. using the same techniques as i had done the previous days. WAs using Soft plastics . Fishing areas with a lot of run and eddies and so forth. Depth was not an issue as the biggest one caught was only in a foot of water. Was just wondering if anyone else had an info on when they find is the best time/ tide etc to fish for them thanks guys.

i agree with your tide times mate, seem to work for me too. Cant believe you got them on those type of plastics, pretty cool. I use paddle tails with weedless hooks in 4inch
Gone fishin', be back at dark-thirty!

Try Jackall transams if they're not biting, or thready busters. There are no thready busters left in Rocky or Mackay ATM. They are only a cheaper copy of the jackall transam anyway.
