Thanks Muddy but I'm confident I won't need it . First year was wiring issue not motor , second year was poor servicing from a certain Springwood Dealer ( not wanting to name them) . She purrs nicely now and when we had a quiet talk in the shed the other day she says she's looking forward to rafting up with you guys .

Failing that........I've got a Tekota 700 that has had minimal use that I'd be willing to sell to you for around $3 ono. I never much liked it and as soon as I bought Tyronos's it just started collecting dust.

Freight will be another $3 to Agnes Water.
I cant believe the price you sell your unwanted crap for. Do you think all of us are miners on good coin? Could you hold onto it while I save?? Should be able to put aside 5c per fortnight!

Some great food for thought.... Would almost take ya up on the tekota muddy but was shocked to see that they have half the drag of a tyrnos for same price (rrp not your price) still think I will go a tyrnos but just have a think on size, its to go on a t curve 200 deep jig so might just pull into a fishing shop and see what it feels like on the rod, will know straight away if its a winner, Father's Day is coming up so better pull the finger out

Still 20 days to go bitchezzz

    Cheers from boony

Myself and Marty will possibly be catching up Saturday morning and shooting a heap of lead around the farm before heading down to organize Old Salt! So If you boys are catching up in the arvo we could have a beer or 2, And we can tell yas how our Red is going to be bigger then yours. Not necessarily the biggest but bigger! As we have a heap of Boonys new fav Red baits! shhh!

Boony if you want something that sits well on the Deep Jig 200 then look no further than a Torium 16. The whole thing feels like a baitcaster but punches way above its weight. Chuck a Carbonex drag in it and the spring and dog clutch out of a Trinidad and you have a great outfit. A small Saltist is similar in size and function.
Even the small Tyrnos will not feel right on the T curve 200. As Grazza said the Fin Nor Marquesa is nice as is the Penn Torque and Shimano Trinidad

The ultimate reel for a Deep Jig 200 is the Jigging Master PE3. Built like a tank, 25kg max drag and under 500g. Will hold about 300m of 50lb braid. Absolute weapon! Mines pink

OK, I am deathonol enhanced, so time to post!

Boony, yes the 30 is heavy but don't listen to these purse carrying, skirt wearing, blouse lifting nancy boys. Man the hell up and you will be find to fish it all day every day. I used mine every day at the swains without issue. Friggin girlies bitchin about how they need a light as kids rod reel, FFS. Might need to ensure extra petticoats are brought to this shin dig to give some of these chicken arms something to wear.

Bill & girls' netball team and whoever the hell else was having a garden tea/make up party next weekend to organise their matching blush and lipsticks for the m&g, because that is likely to be the only red they will see.

Now Boony, do your bitchezz thing and lets get this bbq happening!

Oh wow, Muddy and his mini bull disagreed with me! Now that is original behaviour for these two.

Hmmmmm, might need some more deathonol or perhaps some choconol.

Highly recommended. Have tried both Murf and Chong's choconol and both are very good straight. Actually part taking in some now.

    Re: 2013 Ausfish Annual Agnes Water / 1770 M & G.

Goes to the tune of Johnny H...battle of New Orleans...I bring copies to tavern for sing along

In 2013we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Phillip to the mighty fishing trip.
We took a little plastics and we took a lot of bait.
And we caught the bloody reddish in the town full of mates.

    [Chorus:]
Webaited our rods and the fish kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We baited once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the reefs edge to where they want to go!.

We looked out to sea and we see'd the reds a’ come.
And there must have been a hundred of'em now the fun begun.
They pulled so hard and they made the braid sing.
We stood by our overheads and didn't say a thing.

Webaited our rods and the fish kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We baited once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the reefs edge to where they want to go!.

Old Booney said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't bait our rods 'til we looked 'em in the eye
We held our drop 'til we see'd the sounder swell.
Then we dropped our baits and really gave 'em ... well

Webaited our rods and the fish kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We baited once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the reefs edge to where they want to go!.

Yeah, they ran through the wire weed and they ran through the barnacles
And they ran through the pinnacles where a hussar couldn't go.
They pulled so fast that the boys couldn't catch 'em
Down the reefs edge to where they want to go!

We fished our rods till the reels had melted down.
So we grabbed lots of joy and we fought another round.
We filled our heads with hooknups, on a trip of a lifetime.
And when we touched the JOY off, the REDS had lost this time.

Webaited our rods and the fish kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We baited once more and they began to runnin' on
Down the reefs edge to where they want to go!.
