My brother and I have a joint booked for the M&G and there are a few spare bunks available.

Pub walk is around 550M and importantly most of it is downhill for return journey.

If the weather is good the week before the official start of the M&G, I think that I might give myself a few more days leave & head up early for a pre fish,,, now to tell the BOSS my plan,,
It might be about 550 metres from the house to the pub, but probably more like 700 metres from the pub to the house.
Still, as you say, all down hill. Just don't go a over t on the downward run.
