Mmmmm i do believe i have found a modern day sherlock holmes.....I shall at this stage confirm that indeed one of the above options are 100% accurate! I shall not at this time allude to which of the three is correct. Even though Paramedic wages are not spectacular I dont think a bank heist would be a viable option, I just dont look that good with a stocking pulled over my head!

Only a person intending to perform a bank heist would try to throw you off the scent like that.

    Weapons of Mass Capturation.

I have been waiting nearly 20 years and finally the Weapon is on the market and within days of it's arrival here, I am now in possession of the weapon that will assist me in my 1770 Offshore adventures.

It is the all new Penn Spinfisher series V SSV8500LL. I hate droping names, but this is the reel worth waiting for.

A more advanced addition of the Spinfisher series reels. The Spinfisher V Series spinning reels are made with Penn's new Water Tight Design which protects the reel from saltwater making its way into the gearbox or drag system. The Spinfisher V Series reels have many improved features such as the rubber gasket that keeps superline from slipping. Also

    • New thicker heavy duty aluminum bail wire adds strength and durability
    • 6 Shielded stainless steel bearing system
    • Infinite anti-reverse
    • Friction trip ramp prevents premature bail trip when casting
    • Stainless steel mainshaft and alloy main gear
    • 2 huge carbon fibre drag washers

and for the technical fishos, can pull up to 40lbs drag plus.

but below is a couple of pics of mine beauty (s ).

See the difference in size to a standard 8500

Line is 60lb braid ( made in USA ).

    My two babies.

    Old 8500 married to a 6' 6" 6kg Fast taper stick.

    New one on a 7' fast taper 9kg .

and in relation to my mobile phone.

They weigh in at 960gms and spooled I guess 1kg.

I will be using this instead of my Tyrnos 20 and Diawa Sealines for bottom bashing, Cobia smashing and Amberjack trashing.

I bought it from a Brisbane tackle shop, who gave me the best " deal ".

    Giddy-Up !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice weapon Phill but I'm not sure if it's got the steam to get Graeme and I out to the reefs.

Coming from the dark side surely has to be better than coming from the land of the wrong white crowd.............
