CRFF closures for 2013.

2 October to 6 October 2013, and 31 October to 4 November 2013. So, doesn't bother us.

Cook-Off nominations are being accepted by Chong.


Cook-Off location will be Agnes Water Surf Club and held Saturday 14th September. 6.00pm - 9.00pm. BYO and wallet for raffles.

We have a list of details of people that went this year and will keep this on file. We will update the list next year and keep everyone informed of M & G events etc.

This thread will be locked until after Xmas and then youse can all have a say. So get ya houses booked, bait sorted, crew sorted and boats readied.

Looks like I'm coming. The Mrs has agreed and so has the dog who'll both be coming as well. Just need to buy a bigger boat now. It definitely won't have etecs. Don't know what this origin business means, the AFL has scrapped that for now.

Decisions decisions... House reserved from last year, but missus keen to do a Gulf/Cape Trip at the same time the M&G is on....Burketown, Karumba or Weipa instead of Agnes... Need to do some serious prioritizing here, Barramundi, king salmon, family journey up north towing the tiny, 2kg mudcrabs, more barra, blue salmon, more muddies, or mingle with you bunch for a week... mmmmm thinking thinking...

JJ's towing a boat up from VicLand Noel (apparently they breed 'em tough down there).

It will make a nice change from all the Victorian Caravans on the road!

Will be towing the boat up Noel, it will be about a five week trip in the end. May as well make the most of it as its a big trip from down here as you know and they don't come about very often in a lifetime. Will you be there for this one, perhaps with the son towing the cat?

yep, doing my best to get it all sorted, kind of doubt I will take my boat, but we are still pondering that bit, if you are driving then you will be OK, trying to get rods and stuff on planes is a nightmare, especially silly Jetstar, might do my usual, plane to Sunny Coast, stay at my mates a night, then hire car thing again like last time, seemed to work OK, I will send the rods up by truck before hand this time, or buy a 2 piece T curve or something maybe. My son (Scott) will almost certainly be there too, his mate has a good boat that he might tow up there, hope he does, I can toss all my stuff in that if he does!! how many days now?
