Considering horse and bull are onboard, the net will be under an esky, 3 tackle boxes and about 19 rods...

I can just see that Wicked Fishing Trophy in my grubby little hands. Straight to the pool room with it.
The pre-comp fishos will all have shot their bolts by the time us genuine M&Gers start fishing so we will be fresh and perfectly tapered for the event

Has the organising committee appointed a WPH&S Officer for the Cookoff night? I can see a place for the flashing amber lights off Phills truck, a couple of "oversize" signs might be useful and a few dangerous goods placards for Murfs and Chongs contribution to the evening

    25 days to go bitchezzz

And the trophy will be for the OFFICIAL meet and greet week muddy not the pre meet and greet week, just so ya know

    Cheers from boony

Boony I would love to mate but I'm not sure I can get around work and family commitments. I'm off to Sydney for work the day it's starts but have booked an early flight home just in case the weather is good :-) Hopefully everything aligns and I can make it. lol mate the only problems with catch and release is that the fish needs to be on a brag mat and photo taken. You seem to let them go before making it in the boat. lol

Greg if you are going to do this and it is accepted by the Agnes water m&g committee....??? as many previous discussions have excluded comps... then I would suggest trying Brendan Tracey metal sculptures... he has done some of my billfish and other metal sculptures that we have at home and he has done Red Emperor too as seen on his website... I think this is a great idea and I have suggested a comp idea in previous years for best 5 fish from each angler over the week, but best red sounds smashing too...would be a good idea to order it now though as he is pretty busy I think... A metal red emperor sculpture on a wooden base that a yearly plaque could be added onto with weight/length and anglers name sounds the go... hope this helps.. cheers Kev.
