I have another offer to assist with the salting, so it could be a mini M & G, with about 50kgs of mullet to be processed.

Following on from Mal's post, it probably is a really good time to refresh anyone's request for accomodation. If you have any available room in your digs that you want to fill there OR are after digs for the M&G, post it up now so those that haven't yet, can possible hook up with those that already have but need a few more bods.

I'm still not a confirmed starter for the whole week. Hopefully I can sort it over the next week or so. I will be looking for a place to rest my weary head for the weekend and at least the Monday. If things pan out OK it will be the full week

Yea, unfortunately its not up to me if the ducks line up in the wrong sequence. I should know pretty soon if I am required elsewhere

Well, Mal, I suggest you stop and say g'day to ozynorts ( Haydn ) as he may even offer you a beer ?

Also, pop in and talk to Michelle at PRD, as mentioned, tell her you are an AF member. You could even mention my name, as I think I am still in the good books for dropping her off some reef fillets last time I was there. ??

Take a drive up Seaspray street and Woodrow drive, just to see the views and look at the rentals available. A lot of members rent houses there and some down at ground level at Graham Coyler dr, Marine Pde etc. For a sneaky little ( great ) house, look at Pete's Cottage... it is out at 1770 and the deck has un-interupted views east, over the water. Cheap as chips as well., but only suited to probably 4 people at most and one.... maybe two boats, if pressed.

    cheers Phill

Don't show JT those slimey things Phil....You'll never hear the end of it. At least if you mail him one it will arrive in better condition than the one I sent him.

I'll need to start looking at buying when I'm home in a week so I'll have some for the Swains trip on my next break.

Is this an open source of mullet or is it some super secret squirrel black market source of bait where the guy at the door checks for at least 10,000 hours of sea time on your legs before he lets you in?
