Sorry for the late report,caught this one and a couple of good flathead two weeks ago.
He was probably in the low forties (released quickly and not measured)and caught me by surprise as it was just a social daytime trip up the creek to dust off the jack gear and see where the snags are this season.
Probably about the fifth cast and wack......straight on and landed, I was a little shocked as it was around 8:30AM and bright sunshine.
Lure was a bevy shad 75. Caught in a creek off the passage.
Nice Jack there.
That lures looks as those it has seen a few toothy critter too lol.

Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
Wouldn't mind a surprise like that next time I'm out KF, nice work mate.
