    Double island marlin

    A mate i work with was only a couple km's off double island chasing bait and feeding yakka's back down when all of a sudden was on to a solid fish.Didn't take long for the fish to surface and get airborn a few times.Lets just say he was stoked.When the marlin came aboard he said there was another one at the boat that he could of poked it with his rod.He's not a big marlin but a nice unexpected surprise just the same.

    I think there is going to be a lot of that this year based on how NQ has been going. They are as thick as fleas on a dog up there.

    mate of mine got a 6 kg rat black within spitting distance of magnetic island a few weeks ago

    loads of good reports from up north
