When people think bream soft plastic fishing. What is the go to jig Head? Im especially after the size hook, im aware of the variables but if you could pick one which weight and size hook would it be?
If I could only pick one it would be 1/12 oz #1 hook (light wire, not heavy) in TT Tournament series (ie the ones with the Gamakatsu hooks)...Go for #2 size hooks if they are the ones with the mustad hooks.
Regarding the weight, we all know that there is no particular weight that works in all situations
1/12 or 1/16 is the best all around weight. They will get bottom in pretty decent current and depth and aren't so big to discourage strikes. If you can't buy every weight then go for one of them. As for hook size, what Chas & Clarry said.
