Nice work fellas , a great feed and it would have been a beautifull day out there im guessing.
Cheers Perry
well the youngfella and myself went in a reel cat today it was micks(wave dancer) boat..its a 18ft bruce harris with twin 130hp yammies and this thing has more acceleration then a f1-11 i recon.we left cleveland at warp 8 but every now and then we hit warp 90 well thats what the bloody thing does wound out to is 90k/hr+ was a quick run up the rainbow and out through a flat bar..well micks got a great mate called rosco who give him a copy of his gps waypoints via sd card, what a top bloke i though now hammer those marks i was thinkin.lol..we get out to rosco's honey hole for snapps and boy did they show up i put 3 in the box in bout 10 minutes while poor old kieren and mad mick had none(bloody hopeless)..now mick was playing down the hiding he got on the 1st drift as he recons he was playing with the sounder for the drift i think he was playing with himself in the naughty corner...
the 2nd drift i had my bag and the other 2 still hadnt put anything in the box.we did a few more drifts and we eventually got the bag of 12 squirey snapps, tally was myself 8 mad mick 3 and my youngfella who normally does really well jut the lonely 1 i hooked and he wound in for me
now myself and mick put a plan together bout 8 weeks or so ago after a trip out to where a few blokes had been gettin a few dollies...when i went to where they got them the mark was inside the green zone..so after bout 12 beers one nite the plan was to drop our own bouy system nearby outside the green zone am sure yous will find it 1 day.lol...well we did that a little while ago and today we had a look.bingo they are there we got 8 off it b4 we ran out of pillies so happy days....the highlight was the youngfella got his 1st dollie and got 5out of the 8 so happy days
ended up a great day on the water
cheers rosco
p.s .i forgot the mention the bream i got a boatrock
Nice work fellas , a great feed and it would have been a beautifull day out there im guessing.

Nice work Rosco and Co. The weatherplayed the game for you. A lot of guys hit that CSIRO bouy even though its in the green zone. Smart move setting up your own

Top stuff Rosco Kieren & Mick another nice feed and congratulations Kieren for smashin the Dollies.
I couldn't get out fishing today so I had to do the next best thing and go buy a new rod at the tackle shop.
Cheers Brett
Great stuff Fellas good feed there was a good day out on the water gotta love those Dollies great fun with the pillies as I found out good to see you hit warp speed in a cat Rosco maybe a shark cat is you next rig haha. Instead of airtime on the Radio it could be Mach 1 to coast guard lol.
Nice work rosco and co. Great feed there and great to see that beer inspired plan came off. Where would we be without beer eh!
perry,
it was the flattest i have ever seen the bar
got to love beer,is the only time a fisho comes up with a plan when he has a beer in hand..
was an awsome day on the water.plenty of laughs.i did drop a cracker snapp and the youngfella dropped a nice dollie beside the boat as it started to go nuts and jump around
bull,
what rod did you buy mate
Rosco did you hear lucee out there at all?
Rosco,
Live Fibre 8-15 kg 6'6 RLF16 overhead. I have a 10-24 kg Live Fibre without a reel on it now the thing was to big and heavy.
Cheers Brett
nah perry we didn't have the radio on this time,i normally only turn it on when i know there is a few ausfish boats out offshore but i didn't seem like many where headin out...
come on bull a live fibre is that all , i thought it might of been a jarvis walker 1-3kg for all those reds your going to catch in a few weeks on 1lb crystal line on a tld 50.lol
As rosco has said it was a cracker of a day out. Was a win win for everyone on board. Rosco cleaned up in the fishing department, his young fella had an absolute ball on the dollies and i managed to iron out a few things with the hds 10 and also stumble across a few new tricks as well. I recon the young fella will still be smileing as he told me he couldnt wait to tell his mates as none of them have caught dollies before. ( Will be the talk of the school yard today). The reel cat got a good run and i can guarantee that there is no more cob webs on it, at least not on the outside anyway. Beers and a good laugh was had by all at the end of the day, no better way too end a great day out. Rosco i hope old matey that supplied the rope for our little project enjoyed his fish and let him know that if it keeps produceing there will be plenty more fish coming his way. We need to punch some beers into our head sometime this week as we need to make some rigs and put some serious drunken thoughts into that other rig that we were talking about.
Cheers Mick.
