Don't know much about Bribie but just got back from 4 days at Moreton and they are definetly going to have to close off one of the camp sites as I think it is going to need at least 12 months to get back to its original pre bucks party form.
Ive just spent a week on Bribie and as the weather was good for boating we didnt get to do any 4WDriving. But when we were fishing out from the shipping beacon on the outside of the island I saw quite a few 4WD's hitting the beach towards the end of the week.
I went for a walk down to the beach on Friday morning after a strong N/E blow on Thursday (golf day) and the beach had taken a pounding.
Friday night we had a storm with even stronger N/Eastly winds and on Saturday morning 90-95% of the beach was gone, down the Woorim end.
