Hi Guys, looking for ideas on new clears for my Kevlacat 2400, has anyone got black zips and black around edges??? or has everyone got white? any pics would be great please, Regards Mark
Hey Mark, while I don't have a KK I do have black zips and black reinforcing on my clears on my boat that has white top sides and it looks quite smart.
In saying that I also have white seats with black highlights so that also helps it to match.
Not a KC owner, but I agree with Muddy (there's a 1st time for everything ). Got Black zips and lining around the edges, topsides and hardtop is white - looks good (boat hull is black). I would suggest talking to Opti about clears or at least read through his formula 233 thread. He's got them sussed!
ive got black zips and black sunbrella plus edging on my clears.my clears are strata glass,imop worth the extra coin.
with my top of clears on a sail track and the bottom on the wave breaker they are totally water proof,depending on hoy you do your zip outs ,put a extra pieco of clear over the zip ,this stops water pushing through the zip.
Thanks for that, the crowd i am thinking to use are quoteing 1mm strata glass and i will tell them about the flap but i think they do that as well, i like black but havent seen any on a kevlacat so i dont want it too look stupid only ever seen them with white. Regards Mark
I have a KC 2400 and have black zips. They look good and don't show mould and dirt (or grease if you choose to grease them). I would have a black Kevlacat if I had it my way; save cleaning it so much!
