Looks like you had a really nice day out there and a tasty fish for dinner.
Moved over to Yeppoon in November last year mid way through restoring the family boat. The resto is nearly complete and we've done a few crabbing runs and a few laps of the islands. After getting some confidence up I took advantage of the recent good weather and went for a wide run to try and find a few marks.
All I did was terrorise the juvenile rosy jobfish and grinner population but my mate managed to save the day with an 11.5 kg red. 132 km travelled and burnt about 1 L per 2 km. Came home at 4500 rpm!
Cheers

Cheers, Doug.
Love to use Preditek or Kingfisher lures or Viva Lures when I am out fishing.
132 Km's for one 11.5kg red??? Definitely well worth the trip mate and well done. Thanks for the report.
Cheers from boony
Fishing can be defined as "A jerk on one end of the rod, waiting for a jerk on the other".
"Fishing was around along time before you darling"
